Hello, my friends!

I realize it has been some time since I posted, but I am still writing, seeking to set good writing habits for myself, and focused on long term goals! As a busy college student, I haven't been able to write and post as much.

Here is a quick poem on learning, and the rather humbling experience of studying.

Labor of Learning

What ought, by my excusable expectation

To bear me soothing clarity and elevation

Is weighed by a burlap sack of questions

Not all of equally disturbing heaviness

But each enough to break the rhythm of confidence

And force tired eyes to increasingly cloudy heavens

Wonderful job, Clarsie! Your word choice is absolutely impeccable, and so mellifluous. Best of luck with college, I know you'll do great!
