Early poem today! I remembered this idea last night in bed, an idea from months ago.

Today's NaPoWriMo prompt was to write a poem about your favorite type of music. There are several genres I love, and jazz is one. I don't know how to pick, really.

I also shaped this poem to actually visualize an aspect of the poem. Comment below if you see it!

The Jazz Pianist Day #15

A slightly hunched

throbbing figure

blank Streams of blue from his fingers

Churning restless cities

to a rhythm

blank Singing a syncopated skyline

Living in the space

between heartbeats

I did see the skyline aspect as well, but the piano keys jumped out at me right away! Interesting!

@gretchinronin

This is fascinating, because I had seen two aspects from the poem, but not piano keys! Thanks for adding to the meaning! I see both a skyline and an ECG graph.
