This isn't much of an exaggeration.



Then

I don’t mean to complain, but how am I supposed to see

Glittering ballrooms and elegance of stance

Those gowns that brush the floor and flow so formal and yet free

While swishing in a mesmerizing dance

Without standing convinced I wake in the wrong century?
